A year goes by.

Yet another year has gone by, it's odd that as one gets older the years pass so much faster. This must have been one of the weirdest years of all. It's just been 2 years ago that I actually started icon design as a hobby. And already this year I have been in contact with every major software company, apart from Apple, in the world about freelance and fulltime work! How did that happen? The hard part for everyone to believe is that I didn't accept any of the offers, yet.

I'm still at school having an extremely hard time finishing what I started a long time ago, becomming a graphic designer. It's incredibly frustrating that I can't seem to finish it. It's not that I'm incapable of doing it, or that I lack skills and potential. It's because I just don't try hard enough. I really really want to finish school before I go off and work for or at some company.

See the hard part of doing an art academy is that companies just don't give a damn weither or not you graduated. As a designer the only thing that counts is a rock solid portfolio and lot's of experience. And that's just not a good thing to know when your trying to finish school, and have so much succes outside of school.

Anyhow I'd like to thank my girlfriend, family, my friends, my clients, users, the projects I work on, my potential clienst and the companies I talked to for such a very intersting year. All I can wish for is for 2006 to be at least as exciting.

On a second note I'd like to thank all the users and developers of Camino for an incredible year. We have come so close to being a full browser with all the standard features that the time for innovation is near. Expect to see some very interesting arcticles in new features this year.
